MY CREATIVE JOURNEY

Creativity is medicine for the heart and soul. I believe art is everywhere. I write lyrics, draw (pencil and digital art), paint, and create because it makes me happy. I have been drawing since the age of 10, and continue to learn and grow along my creative journey.

Most recently, began looking for ways to create art that is made from upcycled materials. I started on second-hand denim jackets and now look for any products that I can use second-hand/upcycle and may act as a canvas in which I could create art that spreads love, kindness, and positivity, while being eco-friendly. Each piece is unique unto itself. Whether it’s a bag, jacket, hat, or shoes, I am open to trying it, and hopefully creating a small wave with a positive message that we can all be eco-conscious in what we consume.

I also create art with self-love mantras and affirmations (some with my own lyrics). My goal is to create art that sends love and positivity into the world. I want to build connection and remind people they are not alone. Further, I want the custom eco-friendly pieces to not only spread a message of love and positivity, but inspire us all (myself included) to take our own small steps in helping the planet.

In my efforts to be environmentally conscious, all the materials I am using to create on are second-hand/upcycled, while the paint/pens are new. I also try to use as much recycled packaging as possible. I am continuing to try and find more ways to be more eco-friendly in all my creativity.
